Hope Mead is an artist who expresses herself in many forms. She is a professional photographer, film-maker, songwriter, healing arts practitioner and mother.

While studying photography at California Institute of the Arts, in her early twenties, Hope traveled to a village in Liberia, West Africa with her Shamanism professor.  It was there she had her mind expanded not only culturally by living in a polygamous society, but also through contracting malaria and having a near death experience.

In the Fall of 1973, two months after returning from W. Africa, Hope was introduced to Dr. John Lilly and began experimenting with his isolation tanks (sensory deprivation tanks).  The first time Hope floated in the dark tank, she returned to the same place she had discovered in her near death experience, and was validated at a deep level about something she had known since childhood . . . we are aware of a very limited reality and we live side-by-side with other dimensions that are always available to us.

Hope is delighted that she can now share these other dimensions through her photography and the Orb experience.

Randy Mead is a musician, producer, and film maker who is deeply involved with the healing properties of vibration. He wrote his master's thesis on "tuning and psycho-acoustics" which launched him on this lifetime quest to understand the connection between vibration and consciousness. Randy has worked with Reiki, Shamanism, and quantum healing machines as synergistic compliments to sound healing. His newest CD incorporates scalar waves with the audio program for a multi- dimensional healing experience.

Joan Ocean is regarded as an authority of the subject of Dolphin Tel-Empathic Communication, and has developed the methodologies of her work, entitled Participatory Research, in which human and cetacean species are equally conducting research with each other. Joan has shared her research and knowledge with audiences at both the International Whales and Dolphin Conferences and The Prophets Conferences over the past ten years. A Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, Joan Ocean is a psychologist, shaman and scientist who creates environments that support people in transition from one lifestyle, one dimension, and one physical form to another.

After meeting Jean-Luc Bozzoli and experiencing his dolphin-inspired, multi-media art presentation, Ms Ocean learned to swim and began swimming with cetaceans in oceans and rivers in many countries. She experiences the gentle communication of the dolphins and whales as sound holography, a language that intensifies physical senses, bypasses rational-cognitive paradigms, resonates directly with our cellular intelligence, and awakens multiple levels of perception and consciousness.

In 1984, Mr. Bozzoli and Ms. Ocean founded their organization, Dolphin Connection, to explore the advancement of human consciousness, biophysics and spirituality by producing visionary films, books, artforms and Ocean Seminars encouraging friendships between people and ocean-swimming dolphins and whales.

James Gilliland was raised in a small desert town spending most of his time in nature. Following a diverse education and a successful business career he experienced a near death experience brought about by drowning which opened his eyes to the larger picture. This began a spiritual journey and 20 year quest which included 6 years of: yoga, The Inner Christ Ministry, and the Tibetan foundation were he was certified as being an intuitive visionary of the highest consciousness and energy. He has studied with other yogis, lamas, master teachers and continuously has been taught from within through his extensive practicing of meditation. He is a teacher, spiritual counselor, energetic healer, and published author, Becoming Gods 1 & 2. He was recently honored by a venerated teacher in the Lama traditions as ”Rigdzin Norbu” which translated means "Jewel of Pure Awareness".

Gilliland has lived a semi-reclusive life since 1986 at the Sattva Sanctuary, a 70 acre mountain retreat located at the base of Mt. Adams in Trout Lake, Washington. Over the years Gilliland and others at the Sanctuary have experienced a multitude of orbs and a variety other phenomena that are responsive to human expression such as calling them into awareness.

Klaus Heinemann
holds a Ph.D. in experimental physics from the University of Tübingen and has worked for many years in materials science research at NASA, UCLA, and as a research professor at Stanford University. He is founder and chairman of ELORET Corporation (contract research in space science for NASA). He has authored of over 60 peer-reviewed scientific papers and three books and is co-author, along with Dr. Miceal Ledwith, of The Orb Project, which details their extensive research of the Orbs. With his science background, Klaus has followed a calling to communicate, primarily to people with similar educational background, that the spiritual realm is no less real than the pyhsical reality which is so familiar to us. In his recent book, Expanding Perception - consciousness, wisdom, compassion, love, he has presented how even a person with a formal natural sciences background can come to the expanded perception/view that "there is more to Life than life."

Adelgund (Gundi) Heinemann, an educator by academic training, loves learning and sharing the process of discovery - what it means to live a joyful and compassionate life. The search for truth and the inspiration from beauty and goodness all around us have provided her guidance and direction and assist her in her practice as Healing Arts practitioner and instructor.

Miceal Ledwith, Ph.D., Dr. Ledwith was Professor of Systematic Theology for sixteen years in Ireland and was a college President for ten. Chairman of the Committee of Heads of the Irish Universities; and member of the Governing Bureau of the Conference of European University Presidents (CRE).

Miceal is a delightful and fascinating speaker and has come to be recognized as someone who has made important contributions to the orb phenomenon. He has one of the largest and most significant collections of orb pictures – more than 100,000 images as of now, from the past five years, and some forms of them like the ones of the torsion vortices, have not been seen elsewhere. His "Hamburger Universe" analogy and the Diseases of the Mind 'template' help us observe and gauge our common thoughts. (Dr. Ledwith appears in the film What the Bleep Do We Know?)
